86, of Little Rock went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 4th, 2023.

Born on August 6th, 1937, in her beloved hometown of Kingsport, Tenn., Jeanette’s beauty showed from a young age, having been crowned Miss Sullivan County Tennessee in 1957. Her beauty, along with her kind heart, strong faith, and nurturing personalit­y, set her up for a life of success as a businesswo­man, wife, mother, grandmothe­r, and friend.

Early in her career, Jeanette became a flight attendant for Southeast Airlines, a regional carrier with multiple routes in Tennessee. It was on a flight to Memphis that she met Carl, and their love story took flight, a journey that would last 57 years until his passing in 2018.

As her children entered high school, Jeanette’s spirit of entreprene­urship led her to become the proud owner and operator of the Retirement Centers of Arkansas, where she dedicated an incredible 30 years of her life to providing care, comfort, and support to countless individual­s and their families. Her commitment to the well-being of others was unmatched, and her legacy in the senior care industry is a testament to her unwavering dedication. She sold her company in 2005 and dedicated the remainder of her life to her family, friends, and her many passions.

Beyond her profession­al accomplish­ments, Jeanette was a devoted and loving mother. She poured her heart and soul into raising her three children, instilling in them the values of kindness, compassion, and resilience. Her children were the center of her world, and her love for them was boundless. Jeanette also was a dedicated member of the North Little Rock Women’s Club where she served as Treasurer.

Jeanette Flemister leaves behind a legacy of beauty, love, and achievemen­t that will forever be cherished by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Carl Flemister; her son, Carl Wendell Flemister, Jr.; her parents, Roy and Bernice Conkin; and her brothers, Raymond and Roger.

She is survived by her daughter, Pam Herget Boerner; son, Philip Flemister; and 10 grandchild­ren, Ryan (Drew), Conor and Cole (Sidney) Herget; Alex and Blake Flemister; Kaitlyn, Christophe­r, Hunter, Hayden, and Taylor Flemister. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Wanda Flemister; and brothers, Michael (Linda) and Anthony (Joyce) Conkin; and sister-in-law, Mary Ruth Conkin.

A celebratio­n of Jeanette’s life will be held on Monday October 9th, 2023. The visitation will be at 10 a.m., with the funeral at 11 a.m., at Chenal Valley Baptist Church, 1800 Rahling Road, LitRock, Ark. 72223. Graveside service will follow at Rest Hills Cemetery in North Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chenal Valley Baptist Church, 1800 Rahling Road, Little Rock, Ark. 72223, in memory of Jeanette Flemister or to a charity of your choice.
