Garcia & Son Roofing & Gutters LLC, a small family-owned business that was founded by Pablo Garcia and has served central Arkansas for nearly 25 years, continues the tradition of being appreciated by its customers. The business was named a finalist in the Best Roofing Company category of the 2023 Arkansas Democrat-Gazette’s Best of the Best readers’ contest.
“We feel like our customers have such a personalized experience that when they need another roof replacement, they will remember to give us a call,” said Allison Garcia, Pablo’s wife.
“We feel honored to be in the same category with some awesome roofing companies,” she said. “Hats off to P.I. Roofing (this year’s winner), and congratulations.”
Garcia talked about some of the procedures that help keep Garcia & Son Roofing successful.
“We use our own roofers, with none of that subcontract, not-sure-who-they-are nonsense,” she said. “We are actually all family, from the owner and founder, Pablo Garcia, to the office manager, Madison Garcia, to the estimator, Travis Spoon, to the roofers, Fidencio Morales and Israel Farias. Honestly, most of the roofing companies in central Arkansas have Garcia family members within their company as subcontractors. This [business] is truly in the Garcia blood, and it is my opinion that they are the best you will ever find. Their speciality is roofing, not a list of all kinds of things just to make a buck — only roofs and gutters.”
In addition to providing excellent roofing work for customers, the company also strives to assist community residents in the process of obtaining their needed roof replacement.
“We allow as many discounts as we possibly can to senior citizens, military personnel and first responders, and we honor coupons,” Allison Garcia said. “We will also help walk you through the finance department in order to assist you in getting your roof replaced. We also help those who have been affected by our recent storms work with the insurance companies and adjusters. After such a stressful event, the last thing you want is to have to deal with the insurance company and all of the confusion it can cause homeowners.”
All the aspects of this approach shore up Garcia & Son’s business philosophy: “The customer is always right.”
