Practice combines traditional care with various approaches to healing
FINALIST: BEST CHIROPRACTOR Amanda Bledsoe, D.C. - Bledsoe Chiropractic >>
“Loving, hands-on health care that is on mission to give hope through healing” is how Dr. Amanda Bledsoe describes her work at Bledsoe Chiropractic in Conway. “We are about more than just running a business or just being a health care option,” she said. “We use everything in the building, from the music to decor to our smiling faces, way before we ever lay hands on [patients] to give physical healing. We remind our patients often, as they remind us, that hope starts with the welcoming atmosphere, and mental/ emotional/spiritual hope is just as important as physical well-being.”
For all of these reasons and more, Bledsoe has been named a finalist in the Best Chiropractor category in the 2023 Arkansas Democrat-Gazette’s Best of the Best readers’ poll, following receiving the same recognition in the 2022 contest.
“[I am] so honored to be a part of this community,” Bledsoe said, “and to be recognized in a statewide publication is extra special because we are a central-Arkansas destination serving many communities in the area.”
The practice’s influence is not limited, however, to treating patients in the clinic.
“Bledsoe Chiropractic takes pride in our community by supporting several nonprofit organizations, schools, local businesses and members of our community,” Bledsoe said. “We realize [they] are also our patients and want to give them the best care inside and outside of our clinic.”
After being an associate doctor for 12 years, Bledsoe branched out and opened Bledsoe Chiropractic in December 2017. After being open for almost six years, the business has had its second location in Maumelle for just more than a year, and Bledsoe said she hopes to expand to more clinics to reach others who cannot physically get to the two current locations.
“‘We can’t help you if you aren’t here’ is a big reminder that we help our patients understand, but we also help them create habits at home with homework that is often the deal-breaker on reaching a new level of hope that is sustainable,” Bledsoe said. “Many have tried massages or [physical therapy] or meds/shots/surgeries, even chiropractic, too, but the combo of multiservices in the same building going on simultaneously in our patients’ lives with consistent new homework habits creates success. …
“Here at Bledsoe Chiropractic, we offer more than just traditional chiropractic care. We offer a multitude of rehab therapies, massage therapy, custom orthotics and IV nutrition with our nurse practitioner,” Bledsoe said. “We also accept most health insurance policies, including Medicaid and Medicare. … We strive to offer every Arkansan hope through healing with the Bledsoe way.”
