Reasor passed away. He was 83. He was born on March 4, 1940, to Wilbur and Kate Reasor in Evansville, Ind. He graduated from the University of Evansville with a degree in business and was in the ROTC. He served in the United States Air Force from 1963 to 1986, retiring with a rank of captain.

After leaving the service, he remained in Cabot, Ark. His post-military life included working as an accountant, as a teacher at the Catholic High School for Boys in Little Rock and as an adjunct instructor at the college level. He was married to his second wife, Betty, for over 40 years.

Jerry loved gardening, stamp collecting, travel, history, model railroads and narrow-gauge steam engines. He was also a loyal Green Bay Packers fan and was renowned for his dry sense of humor.

He is survived by his son, James Reasor (Emily) of Denver, , Colo.; daughter, Kim Reasor (David) of San Diego, Calif.; sister, Ann Roth (Joe) of Owensboro, Ky.; stepson, Joe Trester (Barbara) of Olathe, Kan.; step-grandson, Bryon Richard York; step-great-granddaugh­ter, Brittany Rives (Logan) of Ward, Ark.; and numerous step-grandchild­ren; step-great-grandchild­ren; step-great-great grandchild­ren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and brother, Thomas Reasor.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 3-7 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home-West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois St., Evansville, Ind. 47712. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Alexander Funeral Home-West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois St., Evansville, Ind. 47712. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
