Loretta Culp

Loretta Culp, 87, of Pine Bluff, went to be with the Lord on February 6, 2024. Born Agnes Loretta Troublefield, November 16, 1936, in Rock Hill, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Thomas Julian and Lily Steele Troublefield. She was reared and educated in South Carolina until her family moved to Pine Bluff, Ark. while she was in high school. Loretta married Richard Culp on December 22, 1955, and they lived in Pine Bluff, where Richard was employed with Union Pacific Railroad. Loretta was a stay-home mother until her children were teenagers. She worked various jobs, including several years working with her good friends at the Village Green Gift Shop. She was a gifted painter and enjoyed painting beautiful designs on porcelain and ceramic gifts for customers of the shop. She was a member of South Side Baptist Church for over 50 years and, more recently, a member of First Baptist Church. Loretta loved her church and her church family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Culp; and her brother, Tommy Troublefield. Survivors include her daughter, Julianne Robinson, of Pine Bluff, Ark.; her sons, Rick Culp, of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Mike Culp (Tina) of New Port Richey, Fla.; granddaughter, Ashley Feltes (Adam) of Lakewood, Colo.; grandson, Brad Koogle (Mara), of Green Cove Springs, Fla.; great-grandsons, Hayden Culp, of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Devin Feltes, of Lakewood, Colo.; great-granddaughter, Mia Feltes, of Lakewood, Colo.; and dear friend, Edwina Riddle, formerly of Pine Bluff, Ark. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 17, 2024, at First Baptist Church, officiated by Reverand Dalton Adger, with visitation at 10 a.m. prior to the service. A private family interment will follow the service at Graceland Cemetery, by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors. Memorial gifts may be made to First Baptist Church, 6501 S.
