Jacob Aaron Martin, age 47,

of Malvern, Ark., met his Savior faceto-face on Saturday, February 10, 2024. He was born on January 11, 1977, in Little Rock, Ark., to his loving parents, Sammie Lee Martin and Sandra Kay (Harrison) Martin.

He was preceded in death by his father, and joined in death by his wife, Dara, and their daughter, Aleah. A devoted husband and father, Jacob and his family attended The Church in Malvern, where he and Dara led worship together every Sunday. Jacob’s greatest desire in life was to bring honor and glory to God, Who being rich in mercy and love, saved Jacob by grace through faith.

Jacob enjoyed working with his hands, everything from leatherwor­k to auto mechanics to teaching Aleah to weld. He built the deck on their home, his workshop, and the motorcycle­s he and Dara liked to ride. Jacob was also a talented musician and a gifted artist, especially working in pencil. He and his family loved camping and being outdoors together.

He leaves behind his mother, Sandra Kay (Harrison) Martin; his children, Alyssa Raquel (Reid) Davis (Connor) and Jacob Aaron Martin, Jr. Jacob is also survived by his sisters, Gina Martin Eggebrecht and her husband, Brad, Sammie Ann (Martin) Dunkum and her husband, Chris; along with a host of extended family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held Friday, February 23, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church, 12400 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Ark. 72210.
