LENNIE CROSSETT LAUX,

84, of North Little Rock, Ark., passed away March 4, 2024. She was born January 22, 1940, in Pine Bluff, Ark., to the late Lester and Opal Crossett. Lennie is preceded in death by the father of her children, Dale Taylor; as well as her second husband, Jim Laux; sisters, Naomi McCann, Betty Green, Natalie Koonce; brothers, Glen Crossett and Donnie Crossett.

She is survived by her children, Kim Phillips (Ron), Todd Taylor (Susan), Shawn Taylor (Amanda), Shane Taylor (Stacey), Jill Schubert (Christian), and Tiffany Keller (Joel); grandchild­ren, Ashleigh Phillips (Charlotte), Madison Taylor, Amanda J. Taylor, Austin Taylor, Avery Taylor, Dylan Taylor, Kaileigh Warren (Spencer), Hunter Schubert, Lila Keller, and Bram Keller; great-grandchild­ren, Evie Phillips, Jamison Phillips, and Lilly Marlar; twin sister, Winnie Hope (Bob); along with a host of family and friends.

Lennie retired from a lifelong career in mortgage banking; spending over 40 years in the banking industry. She was a longtime member of Park Hill Baptist Church, where she developed a large church family. Lennie was a great bridge player, and enjoyed spending time with her Bop Club dancing organizati­on. An avid sports fan, Lennie loved cheering for the Arkansas Razorbacks and St. Louis Cardinals.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home (1921 Main Street) with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery in Watson Chapel.
