■ Jeff Williams, who was born in August 2022 in an inflatable tub in his family’s living room and spent the first 18 months of his life without any government paperwork to prove his existence, will finally get a birth certificat­e, a Washington judge declared.

■ Orla O’Brien, an associate research scientist with the Anderson Cabot Center for Ocean Life at the New England Aquarium in Boston, said the presence of a whale off New England thought to be extinct in the Atlantic Ocean two centuries ago serves “as a reminder of how quickly marine species respond to climate change, given the chance.”

■ Johannes Vulto and his New York-based raw milk cheese company pleaded guilty to one misdemeano­r count of causing the introducti­on of adulterate­d food into interstate commerce, according to the U.S. Department of Justice, as the Food and Drug Administra­tion in 2017 linked the creamery’s cheese to an outbreak of listeriosi­s that resulted in eight hospitaliz­ations and two deaths.

■ Harald V, the 87-yearold ceremonial king of Norway, “is steadily improving” from an infection and will undergo surgery to receive a permanent pacemaker at an Oslo hospital, the royal palace said.

■ John Hays, police chief in Butler Township, Pa., said he believes there was some kind of interactio­n between a mother bear, her three yearling cubs and a woman’s dog before the dog’s 55-year-old owner was injured in an attack.

■ Ron Stark, co-owner of a New Jersey restaurant where the final scene of “The Sopranos” was filmed, wouldn’t reveal who bought a parlor booth online for $82,600.

■ Travis Ogden, owner of Hounds Town Metro Detroit, said Aries, a regular pup at the facility, ran from a minor car wreck in Clawson, Mich., involving her owner to the daycare to “get back to where her friends are, where she could find somebody to help.”
