MICHAEL STEPHEN “MIKE” HATCH,

-

78, of Little Rock, went to be with our Lord on February 19, 2024. He passed peacefully at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Kala Hatch, in Broken Arrow, Okla. Born March 4, 1945, to the late Lester and Kathleen Hatch, Mike grew up in North Little Rock and graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1963. After graduating from Arkansas State Teachers College (now UCA) in 1967, he began his career as an accountant and finance executive, starting in public accounting and eventually settling in the retail automotive industry. A diligent and hard worker, Mike instilled his work ethic in his sons. Outside of work, Mike’s passion was hunting and fishing. Whether in the mountains of Colorado, the duck woods of Arkansas, or on the White River, he was happiest outdoors. Mike married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Saundra Griggers, in 1965. For more than 58 years, they shared their lives together. He is survived by his wife, Saundra; sons, Steve Hatch (Kala) of Broken Arrow, Okla.; Sean Hatch (Whitney Barron) of Little Rock; grandchildren, Haley Priborsky (Clayton), of Mountain Home, and Ryan Hatch and Katherine Hatch of Conway; and many other friends and relatives. We will celebrate Mike’s life on March 23, 2024, at The Church at Rock Creek, 11500 West 36th Street, Little Rock, Ark., at 11 a.m., preceded by a short visitation of family and friends at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Church at Rock Creek Building Fund or a charity of your choice.
