CONWAY — James Michael Leach “Mike”,

74, of Conway, Ark., passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. He was born in Morrilton, Ark., on November 8, 1949, the son of the late James and Virginia Norwood Leach. He is survived by his three sons, Kevin (Tonya), Aaron, and Landon; and his five grandchild­ren Cameron,

Bella, Cade, Juliana, and Landry. He is survived by his two brothers Keith (Bernie) and Wayne; and his sister Martha (Tommy) Vaughan He also has many nieces and nephews.

Mike graduated from Morrilton High School and went on to play football at the University of Central Arkansas. He was a successful businessma­n owning Randy’s Athletics and PK’s women’s clothing stores. After selling Randy’s, he continued a career in sales at American Cabinets, Spirit Homes, and Cavaliers Homes. Mike also spent many years devoting his spare time to the youth of Conway spending countless hours running the YBMA baseball program, coaching his son’s teams, and started up the Conway travel soccer program.

Mike was a devoted father, grandfathe­r “Pappy”, and friend. He loved his kids and grandkids more than anything. He enjoyed watching them all play sports along with their many other extracurri­cular activities. Mike was a member of New Life Church in Conway and loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 25 at New Life Church in Conway with Pastor Rick Bezet and Pastor Hunter Bezet officiatin­g. Burial will be at Wolfe Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home. Online Guestbook: www.harrisfune­ralhomes.net.
