PATRICIA ANN KOPACZ ZAWISLAK,

age 84, of Plover, Wis., died Friday, February 23, 2024.

For eight years, she lived at “The Lodge” in Plover, with her last week spent at Memory Care at Whispering Pines. She was born in Tennessee on August 27, 1939. She lived all of her life in Arkansas, except for her last eight years. Patricia was the daughter of James (Jake) A. Kopacz and Ann (Annie) Martha Koscielny Kopacz. She married Joseph H. Zawislak October 29, 1960. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, and a younger brother, James (Jimmy) P. Kopacz, who died in 1951. She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Kopacz Williams, and her brother-in-law, Dr. Richard S. Williams, of Plover, Wis., and cherished friends and relatives. For the eight years she spent in Plover, she enjoyed living at The Lodge Assisted Living, where she enjoyed, music, bingo, rosary, and church services, not necessarily in that order. Mostly, she loved the people in her community at The Lodge. The residents and the staff were her friends and extended family. That family broadened when she moved to Memory Care. She would want everyone to know how much she loved you all.

Visitation will be Friday, April 12, at 10 a.m., Rosary at 10:30 a.m., and A Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, in the Marche Community, Fr. Emmanuel Torres as Celebrant. Burial to follow at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking you take a moment to remember Patricia, and in so doing, perform an act of kindness.
