Interstate work will shut down lanes
Work on interstates in Little Rock and North Little Rock will require road crews to close some lanes, beginning Monday, the state Transportation Department said.
Daytime lane closures will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Overnight closures will happen between 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. If needed, the agency said, double-lane closures will be limited between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m.
DAYTIME CLOSURES
■ I-30 frontage road southbound (single-lane closures) between Sixth and 10th streets in Little Rock.
■ Riverfront Drive (single-lane closures) between Olive and Pine streets in North Little Rock.
■ Cypress Street southbound (single-lane closure) between Fifth Street and Broadway in North Little Rock.
■ Broadway (single-lane closures) between Magnolia and Pine streets in North Little Rock.
■ Locust Street northbound (single-lane closure) between Broadway and Fifth Street, and between Curtis Sykes Drive and 17th Street, in North Little Rock.
OVERNIGHT CLOSURES
■ I-30 (single and double-lane closures and traffic shifts) between Roosevelt Road in Little Rock and Interstate 40 in North Little Rock.
■ I-30/I-40 lanes and ramps (single and double-lane closures) at the north terminal in North Little Rock.
■ I-630 off-ramp (full closure) to I-30 northbound frontage road (Exit 140) in Little Rock.
■ I-30 eastbound off-ramp (Exit 140) to frontage road northbound (single-lane closures) in Little Rock.
■ I-30 frontage road northbound (single-lane closure) between the I-30 off-ramp (Exit 140) and Sixth Street in Little Rock.
OTHER ROAD CLOSURES
■ I-30 frontage road southbound on-ramp to I-30 westbound (full closure) in Little Rock near the interstate.
■ Ninth Street bridge eastbound (full closure) between frontage roads on Wednesday in Little Rock.
■ Cypress Street southbound (single-lane closure) between Fifth Street and Broadway in North Little Rock.
■ Broadway (single-lane closures) between Magnolia and Pine streets in North Little Rock.
■ Locust Street northbound (single-lane closure) between Broadway and Fifth Street, and between Curtis Sykes Drive and 17th Street, in North Little Rock.
Traffic will be controlled by construction barrels and signs, the department said.
