Robert Beaudoin

OCEAN - Robert Beaudoin, 91, of Ocean Township, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023. He was born in Orange, NJ and lived in Ocean Township for 20 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Hazel and Rene Beaudoin, his daughter-in-law, Allison Beaudoin, grandson Justin and his brother Richard Beaudoin. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Patricia, his children, Michael (Christine) Beaudoin of Phoenix, AZ, Stephen Beaudoin of Neptune City, Kathleen (David) Alberding of Shark River Hills, Beth McNulty of Spring Lake Heights, and Diane (Kevin) Fitzgerald of Toms River, NJ. He is also survived by his step children, David (Andrea) Luker of Monmouth Beach, Beth of Ocean, Tammy Bullivant of Fair Haven and James (Allison) Luker of Wall Township. Bob is also blessed by eighteen grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He graduated from Manasquan High School in 1951 when he joined the Navy. After the Navy, he and his young family moved frequently because of his job. He eventually returned to Belmar and started his own window treatment business in a garage. 50 years later, he and his family are still operating the Belmar Window Shop on Main Street in Belmar. It is one of the oldest businesses in town. He had the strongest will to succeed in anything he tried and instilled a strong work ethic to his children, step children and grandchildren. His legacy will live on in this blended family. Friends and family are invited to the Ely Funeral Home, 3316 Rt. 33, Neptune from 4 to 7pm on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. On Thursday, July 6, 2023 a funeral service will be held at 10:00 am at United Methodist Church, 247 Broad Street, Red Bank, NJ. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
