BRADLEY BEACH Janice E. Philpot, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday December 2, 2023. Born and raised in Farmingdal­e NJ, Janice was a 43year resident of Bradley Beach. She attended Farmingdal­e Grammar School and Howell High School, class of ‘77. Janice worked for banking firms on Wall Street and later as a secretary for First Baptist Church of Asbury Park.

Known as one of the “Pyrex Girls,” her love of collecting and selling vintage Pyrex blossomed into a twenty-year long business with friend Linda. Janice doted on her loyal pup, Keeper, and had a lifelong love for gardening.

Janice was a loving wife for over 43 years to her husband, Glenn Steven Philpot. She adored her son Jonathan and his wife, Lisa.

Janice is survived by her loving family, friends, and neighbors, including her business partner Linda Pao and her husband Glenn Gernsbeck, her sister, Shirley Ann Lee, her two brothers and their wives, John Pekarchik, Jr. (wife Vickie), Ronald Pekarchik (wife Karly) her aunt, Eleanor Waldrupof, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday December 7, 2023, from 5-8 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ 08736, with a special message from Chaplain Dan at 7 pm. A funeral service will be held 10 am on Friday December 8, 2023, at the funeral home, with the interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle, NJ.
