Seaview Square fills empty store with beauty chain

OCEAN TOWNSHIP — Glamour is coming to Seaview Square shopping center.

Beauty retailer Sephora has leased a 4,700-square-foot store next to discounter Five Below. The space is part of a larger store formerly occupied by Kids City.

Gregg Medvin, executive vice president at Pierson Commercial Real Estate in Marlboro, represented the tenant in the lease deal, the firm said in a social media post.

Sephora is not expected to open until at least next January, according to a Seaview Square representative. A Sephora spokesperson could not be reached for comment.

Sephora has stores in Brick, Shrewsbury, Freehold and Marlboro. It also has mini stores within Kohl’s locations throughout the Jersey Shore.

The new lease continues momentum at Seaview Square.

Last month, Norman’s Hallmark, a card and specialty gift retailer, said it will move its current store located at the Middlebrook Plaza shopping center on Route 35 at Deal Road, this spring to the former Harmon Face Values store at Seaview Square.

In December, Dave’s Hot Chicken, the popular Los Angeles-based chain known for its chicken tenders and sliders, opened its first Jersey Shore restaurant at Seaview Square, replacing Baja Fresh Mexican Grill.
