Nancy J. Roselli (Grasberger)
TOMS RIVER, NJ Nancy J Roselli (Grasberger), age 75, of Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully in her home on April 20, 2024.
Nancy was born on December 3, 1948 to John and Jane Grasberger and grew up Freehold, NJ, in the family home built by her father. In 1970, Nancy wed her husband of 53 years, Morris. They lived in Farmingdale briefly, before settling in their home in Toms River.
In the early 1970’s, Nancy worked at Bell Labs before staying home to care for her two daughters, Donna and Marianne. She then became a bus driver for Toms River Schools, where she worked for 25 years before retiring in 2009.
Over the years, Nancy enjoyed square dancing, cross-stitch, sewing and crocheting, crafting with the neighbors, crossword and word search puzzles, as well as relaxing on cruise ship vacations with her husband and friends in their retirement. She baked Christmas cookies, made chocolate candy, and the best potato salad on the block. Nancy was a treasured mother and grandmother, spending her summers making memories at the beach, boardwalk, pool, and camping with her family.
Surviving Nancy are her husband, Morris, her daughters Donna and Marianne (husband Chris) Brown, her four grandchildren Isabella, Eric, Angelina, and Ian, and her two great-grandchildren, Julius and Debra. Nancy is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law: Lynn Grasberger, Jerry and Grace Roselli, Nina and Vinnie Storino, Cathy Roselli, and Marie Roselli, along with several cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her brothers, John Jr. Grasberger and Harry Grasberger. She is also predeceased by her brother-in-law Sammy Roselli, her brother-in-law Tony Roselli, and her sisterin-law Jeannette Roselli.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 5:30 pm at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. A private committal service will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery at a later date.
