• BACKGROUND: The 1960 home was purchased by its current owners with the intention of completing a mid century- style remodel. Updates included removing the walls that divided the kitchen, dining and living rooms to create an open fl oor plan. • COLOR SCHEME: White accented with cherry wood and mahogany wood

• INNOVATIVE IDEA: Opening up the space in the home required the removal of a load- bearing support. New supportive columns were installed and wrapped in mahogany, creating a new focal space for the home.
