The Giulietti/ Schouten/ Weber Architects team was able to fi nd ways to cut costs throughout this renovation by focusing on certain areas and dividing the pro ect into phases “enerally, in renovation work, it helps to isolate renovations or additions to confi ned areas rather than renovating entire houses,” imothy chouten, principal with the fi rm, recommends eparating the house into sections allowed the team to determine what needed to be reworked and what did not, thus saving the homeowner time and money “In this case, the primary bedroom and bath on the main oor were left alone, as well as the entire lower level, e cept for the new stair and screen wall ”
