WHO DUNNIT: Grete Prytz Kittelsen designed the enamelware, while Arne Clausen created the popular lotus leaf design. WHEN: Kittelsen teamed up with Cathrineholm in the 1960s and continued the partnership until the company’s end in the early 1970s. LEGACY: The short-lived success of Cathrineholm makes the lotus-adorned enamelware a truly nostalgic collectible. TRUTH BE TOLD: Cathrineholm did not receive Kittelsen’s consent to use the lotus leaf pattern on her design.
