Registration open for Cupid’s Chase 5K

The Georgetown Parks and Recreation Department has opened registration for its 18th annual Cupid’s Chase 5K, which will also include a new Kid’s Fun Run this year.

Participants must register by Jan. 11 to receive early bird prices. The races will be held Feb. 2. Registration is available online at cupid.georgetown. org.

CrossPointe Church, 5703 McNeil Drive, will host a free Sounds of Christmas concert at 4 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Featured music will include selections from the Church Rejects, the Hindenburg Project and the CrossPointe band. For more information call 249-1006.
