There’s still time to have your presents delivered before Christmas, but you’d better hurry.

Cutoffs for many shippers are fast approaching, according to Marcus Sterling, owner of Austin’s Postal Etc. Ground service, typically the cheapest method, is already out of the question in most cases, he says, leaving pricier

austinspostaletc.com overnight and second-day services as the only remaining options for packages going long distances.

At Postal Etc., 5350 Burnet Road, Sterling and his staff have been working extra hours the past few weeks to pack and ship gifts for hundreds of customers. The shop opened about a year and a half ago.

“The closer we get to Christmas, the crazier it gets,”
