The city of Cedar Park now offers a mobile app to allow residents to report problems to staff with a smartphone.

Using a phone, residents can take a picture or video of a problem, give the exact GPS location, and send a report to city staff who will then work to resolve the issue, a city announcement said. The app will notify a resident once the issue is resolved.

The CP Connect app is available to download for free on iPhone, Android and the Windows phones. The app gives step-by-step instructions on reporting problems.

The Leander City Council is scheduled to hear on first reading on Thursday eight separate proposals on annexing land.

The annexations would add more than 700 com- bined-acres to the city if all are approved. The ordinance adding the largest amount of land consists of a proposal to annex more than 257 acres generally located south of RM 2243, west of the Ridgmar Landing subdivision, north of County Road 271 and East of Highway 183A.

The meeting is set for 7 p.m. at Pat Bryson Municipal Hall, 201 N. Brushy St. To see the location of all proposed ordinances, go to www.leandertx. org.
