Car seat, booster seat inspections planned

Williamson County residents can have child safety seats inspected at no cost by certified technicians in two upcoming events sponsored by Texans in Motion and Scott and White Healthcare. One inspection event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Baby Earth, 106 E. Old Settlers Blvd. in Round Rock. Call 512-600-7050 to schedule an appointment.

A second inspection will be offered from 1 to 4 p.m. May 22 at the Texas Army National Guard, 1411 North Main St., in Taylor. For an appointment, call 512-352-3910.

Technicians will inspect car seats and booster seats for recalls and provide instruction on how to install them correctly. A small number of seats are also available for families in need.
