The Red Bull Sound Select series is a monthly live showcase that highlights some of the city’s most exciting artists. Each month, the showcase rotates to a different venue and introduces a new lineup of artists. Tuesday’s performance at Empire Control Room will be indie-pop act the Eastern Sea’s first full Austin show this year, kicking off a U.S. tour. The band will perform along with haunting folk-psych group Lord Buffalo and Texas quintet the Sour Notes. Plus, all door proceeds go to the SXSWCares Fund to benefit the victims of the Red River crash on March 13.
