Riverside Drive, the Austin Symphony Orchestra will perform patriotic tunes starting at 8:30 p.m. Fireworks will be launched over the downtown skyline at 9:30. SOUTHEAST AUSTIN Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic: Besides a star-studded lineup of country acts, including Willie, the Austin360 Amphitheat­er will have a starry-night display of fireworks. The all-day concert features Sheryl Crow, Kacey Musgraves, Hayes Carll and many others. Tickets prices start at $39.50. BEE CAVE Independen­ce Day Celebratio­n: The Hill Country Galleria is transformi­ng its Central Plaza into a patriotic playground for families, with face painting and other activities for the kids, live music by the Watters and Vallejo, and an all-day sidewalk sale. Live music starts at 6:30 p.m.; fireworks at 9. BUDA Red, White & Buda: The all-day event will kick off from 9 to 10 a.m. with a Patriotic Parade on Main Street, followed

by live entertainm­ent and food options at Buda City Park. Fireworks will start at 9:30 p.m. at the park. CEDAR PARK 4th of July Parade & Celebratio­n: A parade from the H-E-B Center to the Recreation Center at 10 a.m. and a festival from 4 to 10 p.m. at Elizabeth Milburn Park. The afternoon celebratio­n will have live music, bingo, a washer tournament, free watermelon, and carnival games and rides. Fireworks will close out the night. GEORGETOWN

4th of July Celebratio­n: Sertoma’s 30th annual celebratio­n takes place at San Gabriel Park from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Before the fireworks, there will be a parade, arts and craft booths, food vendors, kiddie rides, bounce houses, games and a petting zoo for the kids. Musical entertainm­ent takes place beginning at noon at the Gazebo. KYLE Independen­ce Day Celebratio­n: The Plum Creek Golf Course will be the scene of the fireworks show, but beginning at 6 p.m. in the clubhouse will be live music. Hot dogs, cold drinks and other snacks will be sold under a large tent. LEANDER Liberty Fest: Along with the Josh Abbott Band, there will be food and arts-and-crafts vendors leading up to the fireworks show starting at 9 p.m. from the Capital Metro Leander Station. The festival along Hero Way near

the 183-A toll road begins at 4:30 p.m. PFLUGERVIL­LEPfirecra­cker Pfestival: The evening with eventlive musicwill take before place andat the after Pfield,the fireworks. Food trucks will start serving at 5 p.m., the concerts start at 6 p.m., and the fireworks will light the sky around 9:15. ROUND ROCK Frontier Days Celebratio­n: Before the fireworks, Old Settlers Park will host carnival rides, children’s games, free watermelon, pig and rubber duck races and the Sam Bass Shootout. Following the fireworks, there will be a screening of “The Lego Batman Movie.” SAN MARCOS SummerFest: Beginning at 6 p.m. at San Marcos Plaza Park, expect live music, followed by a parade complete with a children’s costume contest and fireworks blasting off at 9:30 p.m. There will be food and vendors. TAYLOR Independen­ce Day Festival: The festival starts at 4 p.m. and the fireworks will begin at dusk at Murphy Park. WELLS BRANCH

FourthFest: Expect plenty of kidfriendl­y fun with a short parade at 10 a.m. and finishing with fireworks at 9 p.m. In between, there will be a variety of activities, entertainm­ent and food at Katherine Fleischer Park. The park’s pool will be free and open to the public.
