Parade, bingo and more set to celebrate Austin Pride in August
While the end of June meant the end of Pride Month for most of the country, the celebration is just beginning in Austin.
The Texas capitol holds Austin Pride, marked by its huge parade and festival, in August to avoid competing with other Pride events in June. August is also when more college students are in town.
