6 Front View

1. grille The is new simpler one-piece and quicker to install than two separate units, and its proportions are superb, making it seem even wider than it is.

2. Four sharp surfacebreak lines on the hood and fender top, one as a vertical leading edge, increase visual length and have zero negative aerodynamic effect.

3. detail The is “ice interesting scraper” and could well become one of the 3 Series’ identity marks if it does not show up on any of the other basic model lines.

4. Concavity of the lower front corners is bold, and its rearward bevel in plan view adds dynamism to the whole front end.

PART OF THE impression of width comes from the classical four-headlamp layout in which the lamps are muchwider than they are tall. The front-end graphics areexcellent and cohesive.IN THIS VIEW, the new 3 Series looks really wide. But then itreally wide.
