Few issues divide BACKPACKER readers like stacking rocks. When we shared the Leave No Trace argument against it (“Rock Remorse,” June 2018), retired biologist Juergen Schrenk suggested the whole thing was making a mountain out of a rock pile. “Any impact of [moving rocks] is negligible, if there is one at all.” We asked our Twitter and Facebook followers: Are you for or against stacking rocks as art?
