ET CETERA MLL’s Bayhawks defeat Hounds, 12-8, Friday night
Matt Danowski, Joe Walters and Brendan Mundorf each had a hat trick and Brian Phipps made 16 saves to lead the Chesapeake Bayhawks (4-2) to a 12-8 victory over the visiting Charlotte Hounds (3-2) on Friday night. “[Phipps] and the whole defense played great,” Chesapeake coach Brian Reese said. “They were aggressive in double teaming and getting the ball off the ground, and then when we did give up shots Brian was huge.” The Bayhawks will host the Rochester Rattlers on Saturday.
