The Ravens on Saturday ruled wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown out of Sunday’s game against the Bears, with a thigh injury sidelining the team’s top target.

Brown, who leads the Ravens with 52 catches for 719 yards and six touchdowns this season, has appeared in all nine games for the Ravens. But he missed practice Wednesday and Thursday and was limited Friday. He was considered questionable for Week 11 on Friday’s injury report.

With Brown out, the Ravens will turn to Sammy Watkins and rookie Rashod Bateman as their starters. There are injury questions further down the depth chart, though, with Devin Duvernay (knee) questionable and Miles Boykin (finger) ruled out.

The Ravens also moved guard Ben Cleveland to the 53-man roster, putting the rookie one step closer to returning to the field. Cleveland was carted off the field in Week 5 with a knee injury, ending a timeshare at left guard with Ben Powers.

He was designated to return to practice Nov. 8, and coach John Harbaugh said Monday that Cleveland could be an option to play in the coming weeks.

The Ravens also placed outside linebacker Pernell McPhee on injured reserve with a knee injury. McPhee, who was ruled out of Sunday’s game after missing two practices, will miss at least three weeks and could return as early as the Ravens’ Week 14 game against the Cleveland Browns. McPhee has 14 tackles, one sack and two quarterback hits this year.

Baltimore Ravens offensive guard Ben Cleveland (66) looks on against the Denver Broncos in October.
