(age 80) Father Case passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. He is survived by 10 brothers and sisters and a host of nieces and nephews. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was preceded in death by his parents, George and Geraldine Case; his sister, Joanne C. Gibbs and brother, Michael A. Case. Baptized in the Josephite St. Pius V Church, he was educated in its elementary school, graduated from Frederick Douglass High School and received his Bachelors degree from Coppin State College. He taught at the Fannie L. Barbour Elementary School for three years and then was a personnel specialist at the Civil Service Commission for seven years. Father entered the Josephite novitiate in 1977, and was ordained to the priesthood in May 1980. Fr. Case was an active and much loved pastoral associate and pastor in several Josephite parishes across Louisiana,

Texas, and Washington, DC. Locally, he was a faithful pastor-servant to the people of the Church of the Incarnatio­n, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, and St. Augustine Church. Fr. Case entered retirement in 2017 at Sts. Peter Claver/Pius V Church in Baltimore and in 2020 moved to the Josephite Senior Residence in Washington, DC. Visitation is on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 and begins at 9:00 a.m.at the Church of the Incarnatio­n, 880 Eastern Ave NE, Washington, DC 20019. Mass of the Resurrecti­on is at 11 a.m. Interment follows at the New Cathedral Cemetery in Baltimore. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Fr.
