Mids’ Sowell named Patriot League Coach of the Year
Navy’s Rick Sowell was named Patriot League Coach of the Year, and Midshipmen sophomore Chris Fennell was honored as Defensive Player of the Year. In his fourth year as coach, Sowell led the team to its first share of a Patriot League regular-season title since 2008 and its first No. 1 seed in the conference tournament since 2007.
