Staying on the sidelines in steamed crab war

PETA has put up a billboard urging us not to eat crabs (“PETA finds a way to make Baltimore steam,” Aug. 27). In the 46 years I have lived in Baltimore, I have never eaten crab in any form, nor shall I ever. Even though, as an Orthodox Jew, I avoid shellfish since they are not kosher, PETA should still be proud of me. Now, on the other hand, a nice corned beef sandwich…
