Trump has wrong spending priorities

So President Donald J. Trump thinks that spending money on joint military exercises with South Korea is a waste of money (“China blasts Trump comment; Seoul regrets Pompeo trip delay,” Aug. 29).

What then would he call wanting to build an unneeded, unpopular wall along the southern border (sorry, I forgot Mexico was going to pay for that)? What would he call the desire to spend money on a “space force?” How about the justification for the millions spent on his weekend travel to his various golf clubs which, by the way, totals up to more than has been spent on the Robert Mueller investigation? How about the millions that was going to be spent for a Third World-style military parade, the purpose of which would be to have troops salute him as they passed by?

I’m sure glad that he is cost-conscious!
