Glen Burnie’s Chaston Downs carries the ball against host South River on Friday in the Ravens RISE High School Football Showdown. The game was suspended in the second quarter and will be continued today. Many of the high school football games in the area were suspended or postponed because of storms in the region.

NO. 11 SEVERNAPARK2, SEVERN 0: Ella Raines and Lauren Campbell each scored to lead the Falcons (3-0) past the host Admirals (0-3).

Toni Fiocco-Mizer and Maddie Altman had assists for Severna Park. Katie Byrd had two saves for the Falcons.

Leia Liberto recorded seven saves for the Admirals.

ST. PAUL’S 3, MCDONOGH 0: The host Gators (2-0, 2-0 Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference) beat the Eagles (0-2, 0-2), 26-24, 25-10, 25-19. Jalen Dickerson had 12 kills and nine digs.

ST. MARY’S 3, ST. JOHN’S CATHOLIC PREP 0: The visiting Saints (1-1, 1-0 IAAM B Conference) won, 25-17, 25-13, 25-20, over the Vikings (0-4, 0-2).
