-

The senior outside hitter, a four-year varsity player in her third year as a starter, dominated the net in leading the No. 2 Seahawks to two quality wins last week. In a three-game sweep against Anne Arundel County rival and then-No. 6 Broadneck on Sept. 11, Tarabella finished with 17 kills — including the match-clincher — and 11 digs while going 6-for-8 from the serving line. In another three-game sweep against perennial Howard County power Centennial on Thursday, she had 10 kills and 10 digs to lead the way. Last season, Tarabella was named to the Capital Gazette’s All-County first team after leading the Seahawks in kills (162) and digs (196) to go with 23 blocks.
