Maryland Tech Council names new CEO
The Maryland Tech Council, the state’s largest trade association supporting the technology and life sciences sectors, announced Wednesday that it has appointed Martin “Marty” Rosendale, a veteran of the life sciences industry, as its new CEO.
Rosendale assumes the position immediately, succeeding Tami Howe, who had led the organization since its creation in 2017 but stepped down in April.
Rosendale most recently has been a partner with the Newport Board Group, a corporate executive advisory service. Until last October, he was CEO of Selnova LLC, a Baltimore firm he founded to assist biotechnology and medical device companies trying to commercialize a product. Before that he was CEOof Nuo Therapeutics, a Gaithersburg biomedical firm.
