No evidence supports Ford

-

I quote from The Sun’s editorial, “Kavanaugh cannot be confirmed” (Sept. 28): “We believe Cristine Blasey Ford. … She appeared genuine, sincere and vulnerable.” Where does it say in this article that the decision to believe Ms. Ford is based on the evidence? She named persons who were present when the alleged attack took place and that she had mentioned the attack to her husband and her therapist, but she did not give them the name of the person who attacked her. She said she took a lie detector test, but these tests are not accepted in federal court since they are unreliable. Further she could not recall the specific date or time of the alleged assault. The only time she mentioned Judge Kavanaugh was when she saw that he and others were being considered for the Supreme Court. So was she really acting on her own or was she being used to further the agenda of others when she came forth with the allegations?

When it finally broke into the news, she was invited to come to Washington, D.C., but she declined saying she was afraid to fly. At the hearing yesterday she testified under oath that she had flown many tines to far-away places. So she did lie.

Judge Kavanaugh testified about his whole life including his education, working assignments, being a judge, helping women to become law clerks, coaching at girls’ games and teaching, yet you did not find him to be “genuine, sincere and vulnerable.”
