Woman found dead near Arundel County line

A missing Calvert County woman was found dead Thursday of an apparent homicide in Baltimore, near the Anne Arundel County border, police said Sunday. The woman was identified as 18-year-old Danielle Valerie Gunson of Swan Lane in Owings. Anne Arundel County and Baltimore officers were called about 9:21 a.m. Thursday and found the teenager’s body in the100 block of Riverside Road in the city’s Brooklyn neighborhood, police said. Gunson had “suffered trauma to her torso and was the apparent victim of a homicide,” Anne Arundel County police said. Gunson was reported missing to Anne Arundel County police about 8:39 p.m. Thursday, police said.
