PAUL ALLEN DIES: Paul G. Allen, who co-founded Microsoft with his childhood friend Bill Gates before becoming a billionaire philanthropist who invested in conservation and space travel, died Monday in Seattle of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. He was 65.
