Maryland taxes are bad enough without Ben Jealous

Kiplinger magazine came out with its latest ranking of unfriendly states for taxation. Maryland is now ranked second among the top 10 most unfriendly states especially for taxing incomes (“Maryland lawmakers’ tax relief plan leaves many with higher state tax bills,” April 9).

With this dismal ranking, can anyone imagine what the ranking would be if gubernatorial candidate Ben Jealous is elected? His proposed agenda would most surely send Maryland to the top spot. This registered Democrat will vote for Larry Hogan as the lesser of two evils, so to speak.
