After playing defensive center midfielder as a freshman last season, Parris moved to forward this year and the move is paying big dividends for No. 10 Reservoir. Last week, in particular. In wins over Howard County rivals Mount Hebron and Long Reach, she totaled six goals and two assists as the Gators improved to 9-1-2. In a 5-2 win over Mount Hebron on Oct. 9, scored four times to lead the way. In Friday’s 4-2 win over Long Reach, she was part of all the scoring with two goals and two assists. After finishing with five goals and three assists in a defensive role last season, Parris has seven goals and five assists this year.
