Salisbury, coach Sachs part ways after three seasons

In an agreement with the school, Andrew Sachs said he will not return as men’s basketball coach. A Pasadena native and graduate of Chesapeake High and Salisbury, Sachs has served as the head coach for three years, compiling a record of 59-26. His inaugural season ended with a 21-7 record, marking the most wins for a first-year head coach in program history. Under Sachs, the Sea Gulls received a national ranking for all three seasons, with two NCAA tournament appearances. Brian McDermott will take over as interim coach.
