Cavs PG Hill out with shoulder injury

- AP

Cavaliers starting point guard George Hill will miss at least two weeks with a shoulder injury, according to reports Thursday.

Hill has a sprained shoulder. He was kept out of Wednesday’s loss to the Thunder because of soreness.

Hill’s setback is another shot to the Cavs, who are an NBA-worst 1-10 and will be without All-Star forward Kevin Love for another five weeks — and possibly longer.

While Hill is out, rookie Collin Sexton likely will stay in the starting lineup. The No. 8 overall pick made his first start against the Thunder and finished with a season-high 15 points, two rebounds and an assist in 42 minutes.

Kawhi Leonard had 25 points and 11 rebounds in his return from an ankle injury, and the Raptors beat the host Kings 114-105 on Wednesday. Leonard had missed the last two games. With their fifth straight victory, the Raptors improved to an NBA-best 11-1. ... LeBron James had 24 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists to help the Lakers beat the visiting Timberwolves 114-110 on Wednesday. Tyson Chandler had nine boards his Lakers debut.
