Man found shot in downtown Havre de Grace

Havre de Grace police are investigating a shooting Sunday morning in the downtown business district. Police said they were called to the 200 block of N. Washington St. about 9:30 a.m. to help emergency medical services personnel with someone reported to have a laceration. They said they determined that the subject had in fact been injured by gunshots. The victim, identified by police as a 61-year-old male, was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore for treatment. No other information about the victim, or what happened to him, was made available.
