Taxicab driver accused of rape in Glen Burnie

Police say a taxicab driver transporti­ng a woman pulled into a secluded area and raped her Tuesday in Glen Burnie. Anne Arundel police wrote that officers responded to a report of a rape at 11 a.m. in the Glen Burnie area. The woman told police she was riding in a taxi in the area of McGivney Way near Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard when the cab driver pulled over and forced her to have sex against her will.
