Grizzlies sign veteran Noah to deal

Joakim Noah will to try revive his NBA career with the Grizzlies.

Grizzlies general manager Chris Wallace announced Tuesday that the team has signed the 6-foot-11 Noah for the remainder of the season.

Noah, 33, made All-Star appearance­s in 2013 and 2014 with the Bulls. He finished fourth in MVPballoti­ng and was named NBA defensive player of the year in the 2013-14 season before injuries curtailed in production in recent years.

Sixers G Markelle Fultz is out indefinite­ly with thoracic outlet syndrome. Specialist­s identified a compressio­n or irritation in the area between the lower neck and upper chest.
