Brogdon leads Bucks past Raptors

Malcom Brogdon hit tying and go-ahead 3-pointers in the final 67 seconds and the Bucks held on to beat the Raptors 104-99 on Sunday night in Toronto.

Brogdon scored 18 points, Giannis Antetokoun­mpo had 19 points and matched a season high with 19 rebounds, and Brook Lopez had 19 points for the Bucks, the first team to beat Raptors twice this season.

Serge Ibaka scored 22 points and Kawhi Leonard had 20 for the Raptors, who have lost two straight, the second time this season they’ve suffered consecutiv­e defeats.

Fred VanVleet scored 19 points and Pascal Siakam added 17 for the Raptors, whose 21-7 record is best in the NBA.

The Raptors’ Kyle Lowry shot 0-for-5 and didn’t score for the first time this season.

Warriors F Draymond Green will play against the Timberwolv­es on Monday after missing the last 11 games because of a sprained toe in his right foot. ... The Lakers are engaged in talks trying to acquire Suns F Trevor Ariza, ESPN reported.

Brock Boeser didn’t need much help during a breakout 2017-18 season. Now he’s getting plenty from another star rookie in Elias Pettersson.

Boeser scored his second career hat trick, and Pettersson had a goal and four assists as the Canucks beat the Blues 6-1.

Pettersson assisted on all three of Boeser’s goals to become the second Canucks rookie to have multiple four-point games after Boeser achieved the feat last season.

“He can make passes that most guys can’t,” Boeser said. “You’ve always got to be ready.”

Maple Leafs F Zach Hyman was suspended two games by the NHL for a hit against Bruins D Charlie McAvoy. Hyman was assessed a major penalty for interferen­ce and a game misconduct Saturday night for checking McAvoy behind the Bruins net after he had passed the puck. ... Coyotes G Antti Raanta is out indefinite­ly and could miss the rest of the season with a lower-body injury. Coyotes GM John Chayka said Raanta had a procedure that revealed more damage than originally expected. AP
