The senior shooting guard continued his torrid scoring pace in two Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference wins for the No. 6 Lakers (7-1) last week. In their 69-46 conference-opening win against Mount Carmel on Wednesday, Spencer scored 24 points and added seven rebounds, five assists and two steals. At No. 12 McDonogh on Friday, the Lakers claimed a 69-53 win behind a 25-point performance from Spencer. On the season, Spencer is averaging 22.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.8 steals. Still weighing college options, he’s a three-year varsity player.
