Terps’ Charles among 30 on Naismith midseason list

Maryland junior Kaila Charles is one of 30 players in the country named to the Women’s Citizen Naismith Trophy Midseason Team, announced Monday by the Atlanta Tipoff Club. Charles is leading the Terps (22-2, 11-2 B1G) and is fifth in the Big Ten in scoring with 16 points per game. She’s also averaging 6.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists, and is shooting over 51 percent from the field and 81 percent from the free-throw line.
